SPRINGFIELD — A lawyer for former city golf pro Kevin M. Kennedy said his client felt vindicated Monday after a federal jury acquitted him of the vast majority of criminal counts following a trial that lasted more than a week.
Kennedy, 44, had been accused of looting nearly $1 million from city coffers by skimming proceeds from two public golf courses he ran from 2007 to 2016, when the courses were raided by federal agents.
